Terms of Service

Effective July 6, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Reaction Stash iOS application and related services (the "Service"), operated by Reaction Stash ("we," "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any registration information you provide is accurate.

2. Your account

You're responsible for activity that happens under your account. Keep access to your sign-in email or Apple ID secure. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Your content

The Service lets you upload, organize, and share images and related metadata ("Content"). You retain ownership of your Content. By uploading Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process (including automated content moderation), display, and distribute that Content solely as needed to operate and improve the Service — for example, showing your public images in feeds, search, and to users you share them with.

You are solely responsible for your Content. You represent that you have the rights needed to upload it and that it doesn't violate these Terms or any law. Content marked private is visible only to you (and, for private profiles, your approved followers); public Content may be seen, saved, and re-shared by other users.

4. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abuse

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You may not upload, share, or engage in:

Sexual content involving minors, or any content that sexualizes or endangers children — this is reported to the relevant authorities;
Pornography or sexually explicit material;
Content that harasses, threatens, bullies, or defames others;
Hate speech or content that promotes violence or discrimination against people based on race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin;
Gratuitously violent or shocking content;
Spam, scams, malware, or deceptive practices;
Content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights;
Impersonation of any person or entity;
Any illegal content or activity.

Every image uploaded to the Service is screened by automated moderation before it can be publicly visible. In addition:

Report: every image and profile has a report option. Reports are reviewed and acted on within 24 hours — offending content is removed and, where warranted, the responsible user is ejected from the Service.
Block: you can mute any user, which removes their content from your feeds and search results.

We may remove any Content and suspend or permanently terminate any account, at our sole discretion and without prior notice, for violating this section.

5. Acceptable use of the Service

You also agree not to: probe, scrape, or access the Service by any means other than the app and interfaces we provide; interfere with or disrupt the Service; attempt to access other users' accounts or non-public data; or circumvent storage limits, moderation, or privacy controls.

6. Copyright

We respond to copyright takedown notices under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. See our DMCA Policy for how to submit a notice or counter-notice. We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it. By using the Service you consent to that collection and use.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service anytime and permanently delete your account (and all of your Content) from Settings inside the app. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms. Sections 3 (license, for Content you shared that others saved), 9, 10, and 11 survive termination.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that Content will be preserved. User Content does not represent our views; we do not endorse it.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of $50 or the amount you paid us in the past twelve months.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts located in California.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date; continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
